Since 2015, Dumzy Leather Works has been a well-known Leather Goods Artist in Hermanus. What started out as a hobby, has become our passion and we're delighted to share it with you.

We love to incorporate recycled materials such as coffee bags into our designs. That's our way of giving back to the environment! We’re proud to have produced years of happy customers and look forward to continuing our work for many more to come!

Clear and the Better Leather Team
THE DESIGNER
Hello! I am Clear Dumane.
I am based in the beautiful small town of Hermanus and have been in the leather works industry since 2015. It has shown exponential growth over the years and I wanted to be part of that!
It started out as a hobby. Some days I'd use it to kill time. Over time I grew so passionate about the art of making leather that I decided to become even more invested in perfecting the skill.
Furthermore, given the high unemployment rate in South Africa and my home country, Zimbabwe, I wanted to enable myself to produce a product I could make a living from.
